About Radiohormuud Radio-Hormuud is an independent community radio which broadcasts in Somali language and it’s headquarter is in Kolding, Denmark. Radio-Hormuud speaks at FM 107.2 and it broadcasts its programmes and news 15 hours per week. Radio-Hormuud was established on 28th January 1998 and the strategic aim was to enable the understanding and communication between the Somali people and the host community (Danish people) as many Somalis find difficulty in comprehending various issues in Danish as their command of the language was not good enough.
