The Winter Skateboard Series are three skateboarding events in the communities of Salmo, Nelson and Castlegar. Each event provides an opportunity for skateboarders and non-skateboarders to gather and celebrate the activity. Thanks to Salmo Valley Youth & Community Centre, Nelson and District Youth Centre and Kinnaird Youth Indoor Skatepark for hosting these events. Also thanks to sk8shoes4kids.org, Freedom Quest Youth Services, BLK RSN, Central City Shoes, MountainFm.net, RGB, Filtrate Eyewear, Tribute and Concrete Skateboarding.
