Angry Procaster Constantly Crashing

I've been trying to stream my artwork, and Procaster seems hellbent on crashing multiple times right in the middle of a stream. The videos still go to the channel, but now instead of a single hour+ long session, I end up with multiple shorter videos of 3-4 minutes, and if I'm lucky, a longer one. It seems like any time I so much as touch Procaster, be it the chat window, or the toolbar, it crashes. If I minimize them both, and just work as if the rest of the world doesn't exist, then it runs fine 90% of the time. But meanwhile I can't chat with my viewers, or anything. Using either Paint Tool SAI or Photoshop CS2 while streaming, with an Intuos4 Wacom tablet. The CPU usage usually stays right around the 30-40% mark.

Operating System: Windows XP Professional
System Manufacturer: Gigabyte Technology Co., Ltd.
System Model: EP45-UD3P
BIOS: Award Modular BIOS v6.00PG
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU E8400 @ 3.00GHz (2 CPUs)
Memory: 3326MB RAM
Video: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 260

Any help figuring out why it's doing this would be greatly appreciated!

Velgthejackal,

Which version of Procaster are you using? (open preferences, click "i" in top right-hand corner) Also, what quality setting are you streaming at?

To reduce the use of system resources, please be sure to close all programs aside from Procaster and your drawing program of choice. You should also disable the preview window and local recording options, which you can set in the ‘Desktop’ tab of Procaster’s preferences.

Thank you.

Apologies, I thought I had added that. It's streaming on the Normal quality, 446kbps. Version 20.3.

I've got the preview option turned off, as you suggested, but I don't see an option for local recording anywhere.

Please try installing the latest beta for Windows, Procaster 20.3.10.

Local recording can be disabled by unchecking the 'Save video to file' option found in the Desktop tab of Procaster's preferences.
