Dark Souls: Prepare To Die Edition not being captured

Desktop mode works fine, but game mode won't bring up the overlay, even with CTRL+F2. I can get the overlay to work with other DirectX games just fine. I'm thinking it has something to do with the fact that there's two processes associated with the game (DARKSOULS.exe and DATA.exe), but I'm not sure. Is there any way to get around this, or will I have to wait on a fix?
