How can I record a video replay with livestream?

Hi there,

I am trying to record commentary with a old replay I have in .flv format

but when I go and play the video (using windows media player), and turn on procaster, the recorded video is only of a black screen.

Is there anyway to record a video (using livestream) of a video playing in windows media player?

Be sure you are using Procaster's screen capture mode by going live with 'No Camera' selected as an input source. If you are still experiencing the black screen, I would recommend trying another media player such as VLC.
