Not receiving emails

I made another account just to ask this. I already have an account (Whelt), but I forgot the password. So I went to the forgot your password form, filled in my username and email, but then I never receive the email. I checked, and it's not in the spam folder. I know I used that email and that username, because when I try to make a new account using that same name or email, it says they're taken. So why am I never receiving the email to reset my password?
