Okay, so I'm kind of new to the whole, streaming thing and my experience with this particular site is all from my computer with the procaster.
However, I want to get a little bit more into it as it were. I'm buying a new computer and new tv soon so I figured this would be the perfect time to figure it all out. All I really need to know is how to stream video/audio from my TV, as well as keeping the microphone/webcam from my computer working. I've been told to just buy a capture card and cord splitters, the problem with THAT is the tv I'm getting only has HDMI slots, no composite cables. |

To capture from HDMI you will need a capture card that will accept this type of source as an input.
We recommend the BlackMagic Intensity Pro if you are using a desktop: http://store.livestream.com/products/hdmi-intensity-pro For a laptop there are also a number of external capture devices that will allow you to capture an HDMI source and run this into your computer via USB or Thunderbolt. Some recommendations for these are here: http://store.livestream.com/collecti...aptop-encoding -Ben Livestream Support |
