Low Fps.

I just signed up with livestream procaster. I got a few questions.

1. it says in the preview toolbar that I am only at 3 frames per second and the video at my livestream page is seriously lagging and the frame rate sucks ...Also it takes like 1 minute for what im doing in real life to appear on the final output at my livestream page.

I am using ATT UVERSE Pro package and everything else I do is lightening speed , but not this.


2. Whats the difference between mogulus and livestream? i dont get it? is this mogulus or livestream?

Mogulus IS Livestream. They changed the name. That's the magic behind it

Same here.

I have Quad Processor with 4gig Ram, a 512MB NVidia Card running on Vista Basic.
It will start at 25fps on my case and then would regress to 3FPS. AT first I thought it was my ISP but later I realized that it is the procaster that is slowing down.


I am only capturing my desktop at a small size of 320:260 yet it would still go back to 3FPS after a few hours. I have trimmed down my settings to the smallest possible way but the result would always be the same.

This usually results from a low bandwidth connection. but, just to be on the safe side, I would suggest to upgrade to the last release candidate from here: http://www.livestream.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1475

Whats the recommended upload for a 320x240 output?

I can upload at 600Kbps and the value on the procaster display never reaches there. It hangs around 200-500

Gonna try out the new version now.

yeah new version didn't help. Still 3FPS. This even happens with the desktop resolution at 800x600.
