CANON VIXIA HF-500 or VIXIA HF-G10???? Help Please!

Hi! I want to know if I can use any of these cameras ( VIXIA HF-500 or VIXIA HF-G10) to live streaming, I asked to the seller wich one he would recommended me because they have discontinued the model vixia hv40, and gave me this two choices but I'm not sure if he really knows about this or he just want to do a big sale.
For use any of these cameras they must be used as a webcam? or just need the firewire?

You would be able to use any of these cameras for live streaming. The HV-40 can be connected via Firewire but will only be detected when outputting an SD signal. As the HF 500 and HF G10 do not have Firewire, you will only be able to use these cameras if you output via HDMI into a capture device, such as the Black Magic line of capture cards available in our store: store.livestream.com
