Computer sound cuts out after a few minutes of streaming

When I'm streaming, I use my mic (a Logitech webcam/mic) and my computer's audio. After a few minutes of streaming the sound of my computer cuts out to the audience, but I can still hear it fine.
On top of this, when I open up the audio mixer Procaster nearly freezes every time. I'm forced to change audio settings while I'm not streaming, and it's less likely to freeze.
I never had either of this issues before I updated to the newest version of Procaster.

I'm all up to date with Windows Updates and driver updates.
I mostly stream video games, but not in gaming mode.

Specs:
Windows XP
1Gb Ram
Integrated graphics/audio cards
(...yeah, it's not great for streaming but it works.)

From the what you've described I'd imagine your system does not meet our minimum specifications required to broadcast with Procaster, they are available here:
