snoopy414,
The ATEM will work with Livestream for Producers provided you have a capture device to receive the program output. I recommend using the Livestream certified Black Magic capture devices which can be found in our store at the following URL: http://store.livestream.com/

I'm sure I'm not the only one who is very worried about when the Broadcaster is actually coming out. I have shows setup in mid-July that are already announced and I have a New Livestream account setup and ready to go. If the Broadcaster is delayed any further, I will be in big trouble. Are there any hardware encoding alternatives such as the Blackmagic ATEM if things are delayed any more? I see it can be used as a switcher, but is it required that the Broadcaster do the actual streaming? Is the Broadcaster all there is?
I'm paying $45 a month and can't even use the service, since the streaming takes too much CPU on my Mac Pro. Thanks. Last edited by rpacker; 5th June 2012 at 19:50. |

At this time the only solutions for streaming to New Livestream are via the Livestream Broadcaster, the Livestream plugin on the Newtek Tricaster or the Livestream for Producers application, which is available for both Mac and PC.

What is the common publishing path one should use with a producer account? e.g.:
http://livestream.com/"channel" |
