Default Syncing Video on a wireless/wired Multi Cam Shoot

Hi,

I am new to live streaming and I am in the process of setting up a way to stream live events. This is how I want to stream my events but I'm not sure if it will work properly.

I have a Sony EX-1 Plugged into a Macbook pro 2.8ghz 4gb ram via firewire, using Wirecast Pro and Livesteam premium to stream. I also want to use a canon 7d with a Teradek hdmi Cube as a second camera.

Here are my questions.
1. Will there be a major issue with video lag when switching between a hardwired and wireless camera?
2. Do I need a timecode/getlock device or software to fix lag?
3. Can I use a Verizon 4g LTE usb modem to stream at a low bit-rate in places where a hard connection is not available?
3. What other problems might I be facing?

Thanks for all the help!
