I was excited to hear that Procaster's chat can be rendered invisible to the one's viewers since I rather don't like having it visible on stream, and in fact that it was just a matter of switching some settings. Simple enough... but after searching the forums for how to make this change I found that I needed to switch the Basic Mode in the Desktop Capture menu.
So I did... to "Always", "Ask" (it never did... *sigh*, it's high school all over again.), and finally --despite it being the opposite of the suggestion I found-- "Never". Not one of these settings changed the visibility of the chat or procaster menus... ostensibly, it didn't do anything at all. I've looked over the rest of the menus and I keep coming up with no other options to end my you-can-totally-see-my-chat-and-control-screen blues. Is it the program or the user that's defective in this case? How do I make my procaster window invisible during recording, without minimizing it... If you can answer both of these, I'll consider you to be your choice of two of these three following options: gentleman, scholar, wizard. |

valeese,
The Procaster chat window is only visible to your viewers while using the Aero theme. The Basic theme will render the chat window invisible to your viewers. Once you've changed the setting to 'Always' or 'Ask', restart Procaster for the change to take effect.
