WarmongerJoker,

Open Procaster's 'Audio Mixer' and see if 'Built in Input' is one of your selected input sources. If so, that could be what is causing the problem.

No I had it set to "speaker's audio" when it makes the sound. When I tried using default input device the sound wouldn't work at all.

I had a similar problem, but i think mine was related to internet connection/CPU usage. Could it possibly be some sort of background noise?

WarmongerJoker,

I've looked in your studio, however I don't see any recordings. Could you create a recording that is affected by this issue so I can get a better idea of what the issue may be? Additionally, please provide your workflow; which programs you have open with Procaster, any other hardware you're using, and the version of Procaster (found by clicking Preferences at the main screen, then the italic 'i' at the top right of the screen)

Ok, first of all I am using procaster version 20.2.69P.

I'm on windows 7 with a 64-bit operating system.

Usually when I am using procaster I am using a program called gameranger which is a gaming server for older games. I am playing the game Battle Realms in particular but I haven't made it out of the lobby of gameranger yet because of the sound issue. It usually acts up when people are chatting in a room before the game starts. Someone will type something and then the chat sound will be heard, except afterwards the chat sound will keep repeating itself. Thus the repeating sound problem or however you want to put it.

In my recording that I just made, you will hear the repeating chat sound. At around 4:50 in the video I typed a lot and the sound goes off the charts.

At around 5:40 I open the audio mixer.

WarmongerJoker,

I see you have another Livestream window open in your browser, however I'm not able to see what you have there. If you have an instance of your player or the studio open in that tab, that would be what is causing the repeating audio.

The only thing I had open was the procaster, the channel which I was streaming to, and the other window was either the homepage or something, no sound coming from it.

The chat sound seems to just repeat itself for some reason after I type. No idea why. The audio mixer keeps getting maxed out too for some reason. I type in the room that I am hosting and the chat sound resonates afterwards. Except the chat sound then repeats itself over and over again, even when I am not typing.

WarmongerJoker,

Having your channel open will cause the repeating audio. Procaster is picking up and feeding out the source audio, but also the audio coming from your channel. Try muting the audio on your channel page and see if this makes any difference.

Seems that was the problem. Such a simple solution.

Thanks for the help!
