Default Editing Archived footage

Hi
I'm trying to work with a school on events they are livestreaming--for archived events, is there a way to edit the footage online; or can I download it, clean it up and re-post it? What file format is an archived livestream event recorded in?

Sorry for the rudimentary questions but I'm not getting satisfying answers from the school's tech dept.

TIA
cheers

tomottoe,

At this time, you cannot edit your clips from within the Studio. You can download these files in the 'Manage Library' section of your studio by clicking the storyboard which houses the clip, then clicking the download link on the clip in the right column.

Depending on which encoding software was used, the clips will download from studio as different formats. For example, Files recorded with Procaster and Wirecast will download as an mp4 file, while broadcasts recorded with Studio and Webcaster will download as flv files.
