Default Problems with running graphics tablet and Procaster

I'm trying to do a live paint/chat with Procaster. But whenever I turn on Procaster, my graphics tablet doesn't work properly. It loses all pressure sensitivity and pretty much acts like a glorified mouse. Is there a way to fix this? Or am I just making my poor laptop do too much at once?

inkblots,

What make and model is your tablet? Also which operating system and drawing program are you using? Not all USB devices function properly within Procaster, however provide the above information and I will take a look into the issue.

I am having the same issue. I downloaded Procaster today (Friday, February 3, 2012) and when I attempted to use my tablet, I had no pen pressure.

I currently use a...
Wacom Wireless Pen Tablet; Model CTE-630BT
Adobe Photoshop CS2
Laptop with WindowsVista Home Premium; Intel Core Duo CPU

Oops. Sorry.

My tablet is a Monoprice TWA60 Pen Tablet and I'm running Adobe Photoshop CS2 in Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit with an Intel Pentium processor.

Can you both provide the version of Procaster you're running? Please be sure you've updated to the latest beta version, which has a greater range of supported devices. I've included the link below.

Procaster 20.2.43: http://cdn.livestream.com/mds/Livest...er-20.2.43.exe

cricketts801,

Unfortunately we do not offer support for all USB devices at this time. Could you try installing the newest release of Procaster here and let us know your results.

If you continue to experience difficulties please let us know the make/model and I can add it to a list for our developers in hopes of future support.
