Well there is an online alternative. It's a new thing called anymeeting.com
I myself have been searching for a better alternative to that, because the display gets choppy and the chat lags, plus you can't share sound like you can on livestream. People you chat with don't choose their username; they are assigned to Attendee 1, 2, and so forth. You are the Presenter.
It's a real bummer, but it's better than nothing.
