Cpu 98%

whenever i start the live stream, my cpu jumps from around 30% to 98-100% usage and completely slows down everything. Is there a solution to this besides upgrading hardware? current specs are:

Intel core 2 Quad CPU Q6600 @ 2.40GHz
4.00 GB ram
64 bit windows 7
8800 Gtx Nividia graphics card

Your system is at the lower end of our minimum requirements, which can be found here: http://www.livestream.com/userguide/...r_Broadcasting

To try to ease the load on your CPU, make sure all unnecessary programs are closed and Procaster is not writing a file locally to your hard drive. You could also try lowering the quality setting to see if that improves your performance.
