Audio Compression and static sound(s)

I'm getting a great deal of audio compression sounds and static regardless of the setting(s) I choose in Procaster.

My hardware configuration is as follows:
Intel Dual Core CPU E2180 @ 2 GHz
1.95GBRam
XP Pro SP3
Procaster VG.20.2.0
Mackie 1604-VLZPRO Mixer

I'm running from my main bal/unbal line out on the back of the mixer to the Mic input on the front/rear of the computer.

Any Ideas or help is appreciated.

I'm experiencing the same thing.

i7, 8 GB RAM

Using Vidblaster for video, Behringer USB mixer for audio, Procaster PC latest beta release (same problem with previous version of Procaster as well). This was a problem I've experience on both free and premium platforms at various channel quality settings.

For an example of what is happening to me go to about 1:15 mark here:

If I record the sound from my Behringer mixer to Audacity it sounds great.

Any help would be appreciated.
