Default Canon Legria HF R38

I am looking for a good solution to stream HD and I am a little bit turned off by the price of the Cube.
In april 2012 Canon will introduce the Legria HF R38, or at least that's what it's called in Europe. On the (Dutch) canon website it claims to support MP4. Does this mean I can stream the video directly (via laptop) unto Livestream?

I've asked Canon's Dutch client services, but they only have students with scripts on the phones and this ain't in it... I am still waiting on an answer.

It would appear that the Canon VIXIA HF R32 is the US equivalent of the European Legria HF R38.
