Angry When will Procaster support the Dazzle

I really want to stream using my Pinnacle dazzle. I found out how to select video sources, so I tried to make my video source the dazzle. Procaster won't even acknowledge the fact that my Dazzle (a definite video source) is plugged into my computer. So I looked around and found the answer: Procaster doesn't currently support the Dazzle. This was a big disappointment, and I won't (and can't) spend another $50-$100 on a compatible capture device. My question is: why can't Procaster be compatible with Dazzle? I know they did in the past, and they just suddenly dropped it. This pisses me off.

Okay I had about a million and one problems with my Dazzle 100 before and searching took forever. Here was the fix I found though. If you have the splitters all set up so you can play on your tv and it goes to your computer you can do one of two things (both free with some searching).

1. use the software that came with the Dazzle and use the computer screen option in procaster. This is the easier method and you can just go to capture video and set that to your Dazzle both audio and video. The downside is the video quality will be poor.

2. AMcap (not the demo version unless you want to do it in 15 mins segments) You'll be ableto get this off any torrent or file sharing site. And you'll also need virtual audio cable 4.1 which you should be able to find a free version of. Once you get that set it to the Dazzle audio source and line 1 for out then go to your recording devices and set line 1 to play through your speakers. Start up both Amcap and VAC select the devices in AMcap and it should work.

Apparently procaster wasn't allowed to support the dazzle before and that's why they took it out. It's also not something they plan to put back in.
