Sony DCR-TRV25 - Not Being recognized HELP!

I'm using a sony handycam DCR-TRV25 (Or at least trying to). I have it connected to an outlet and I plug in the USB cable in to both my laptop and the handycam. The handycam is all ready to record but my laptop is saying "USB unrecognized" and "Unknown Device". I even installed the driver to it, and that didn't help either! Can anyone help?

By the way I did download LiveStream Procaster, and it's not picking it up either!!

If any answer that would be great!

Unfortunately Procaster does not recognize all USB devices. What I would recommend is connecting your camera via FireWire.

This is why you are getting those error messages.
