My company has an embedded player on our website which we use to stream a program once a month. When the live program is over we save the program so anyone who missed it can come to our site an watch it at their convenience. We received several complaints that there is no way to fast forward or rewind the recorded program. Another complaint was that the pause button will pause the video but will not start at the same point when the video is played again. Also, visitors said that the recorded video doesn't always start at the beginning. It can start at any point of the hour long video. It should start from the beginning for each visitor.

Are these features we should have?

Each of the complaints you have appear to be in regards to the autopilot, which runs constantly in a loop. I'd suggest also adding your content to the VOD library which will give your viewers such options.
