Try manually downloading the latest version of Flash using Firefox. It can be downloaded at the following URL: http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/
Let me know if you have any other issues.

I had these same issues for quite awhile and whenever I opened http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/ it would say that it was updated (current) for chrome.
And I did not want to install Firefox to get this working or even try going down that road. I also don't use Internet Explorer, but I thought since I can't uninstall it I might as well see if its Flash is up to date too. So I went to http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/ in IE and it needed an update, afterwards I restarted Procaster and all the magic is back ![]() I hope that helps someone else running into this problem ![]() Damon |

I've tried multiple times to download the flash.
Use IE downloaded flash, returned to procaster NO. Same error message. Over and Over. "File Download Error" I've got the best Getflash.com can offer. Updated and everything. What's the deal?! Really mad right now. |

SuddenlyGlados,
You can try to download flash from get.adobe.com/flashplayer preferably with Firefox. You can also try the following steps with Explorer: -Go to http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/oth...s/?no_redirect this will download Flash Player for other browsers (and everything else that requires flash) -Choose your operating system -Choose Flash Player for Other Browsers -Download and Install -Restart Procaster

I also have the chatbox flash player problem. Did all the things from the forum, still exists. (running XP-SP3 on AMD)
I did notice though that when I close Procaster normally, it does not show me the error when I start it again; everything works well. If I terminate Procaster via Taskmanager THEN the error ALWAYS shows up. So I think it has to do with how the last session was terminated! clean termination --> no Flash error the next time dirty termination --> Flash error the next time (I kill the Procaster process because our Internet drops regularly and Procaster not always comes back online ("trying reconnect"), so I have created a script to terminate and restart Procaster) I'll investigate further, post when I find more details |

Glad i found this thread finally. i had already installed adobe flash from the site but didn't work after restarting procaster or even restarting the PC like i normally would. apparently 11.1 is the magic number for procaster.

I downloaded Procaster today (I'm running Windows 7), and when I tried to broadcast I got a box that said "This feature requires Adobe Flash to be installed in the Procaster built-in browser. Install is not supported in live mode. Please stop your live stream and try again from the chat tab"
So I did! But then when I clicked to install, I got a file download error. :\ Any help? |

Or I thought I did.
I did the thing where you install Flash for other browsers, but I STILL get the same message and I can't do anything else. :\ |
