Question Black Magic Ultra studio 3D/Thunderbolt/Mac Book Pro
I have a MAcbook pro with Thunderbolt and BMagic Ultra studio 3D device, Procaster certfies the device But no video! I 'm using OSX lion. Help!
Black magic and thunderbolt connections using Sony NEX camera, all are in sync.
Any one know how to insert closed captioning text using live studio or Tricaster 450 with livestream.

Are you using the latest Beta of Procaster? This might resolve your issue, you can find it within the following forum thread: http://www.livestream.com/forum/showthread.php?t=6991

Also, please make sure that you select the correct input format by clicking "Input Source" to the right of the Camera Source drop-down menu.

Hi there,

I'm also having this problem. Exact same specs as PACE but with minimac not macbook.

Installed the latest Beta, checked the 'input source' but am getting the error opening camera (it can be busy).

Scratch that. Camera is now recognised, but am only getting a black screen. The input source is correct, settings are correct, Media Express is showing everything coming in correctly, but no images coming through on the Procaster, just a black screen.

Switched to the 'screen view' to check, and that's working fine.

Any help/tips/advice would be much appreciated.

Do you have Media Express open while also trying to configure your device with Procaster, if so it would give you the message about the camera being busy.

Default black screen with ultrastudio 3D
I have same trouble. Input's ultrastudio is OK. caméra's configuration is ok but procaster says "Lost signal". May have help please. and i have no picture with media express...

Please make sure all connections to your camera, UltraStudio, and computer are secure. Also, be sure you are using the most up to date Black Magic drivers (available at www.blackmagic-design.com/support) and using the latest beta version of Procaster: http://www.livestream.com/forum/showthread.php?t=8557
