I need some help here. I own a little school and I will broadcast classes in 2012. I bought the Roland VR-5 system and I am making some tests right now.
Could anybody tell me what are the best settings for me, using Procaster (Mac) + VR-5? I have a connection with 3mb/s upload speed. I would like to broadcast in best quality, for students who have good download speed at home, and with normal or poor quality, for those who don`t. I appreciate some help. (sorry for my bad english) |

maurolopes,
I'd first suggest running a test at speedtest.net with your destination set to New York, NY, rather then a local server. Based on these results you'll have a better idea which rate you can encode with. While utilizing Procaster you have the option to stream multiple bitrates, which would give your viewing audience the most optimal stream based on their system and connection.
