Hello,
I am recording my desktop. After the first few seconds of recording, the sound comes out broken, and after I put attention to the sound, I realized that the sound is playing way faster than the video. In other words, when I am watching the recorded video, the broken sound I am listening to, does not match with the video sequence; whatever I can gather from the broken sound, is supposed to be further ahead of what the video sequence is playing at the time (I hope I communicate clearly) I have left a sample of the video. If you watch and listen, you will notice that in second 9, the video accelerates, and by second 26, the entire sound sequence has been playing, while the video continues to play at a normal rate until second 57 http://www.livestream.com/smallbusin...edium=ui-thumb I have Windows 7, and I am using procaster version 20.2.0 The quality is set to 500kbps (the free service standard) The audio settings are: Target bitrate: 96 Sampling rate: 44100 Channels: stereo When I open the audio mixer the settings are: Channel 0, microphone (Logiotec Microphone) (whic is the device from which I want the input audio for the recording) When I speak, I see the horizontal bar filled with green bars, and the two vertical bars over to the right also fill with green bars I have checked the box "Adjust recording volume automatically" I have attached images of procater's settings, the first screen, the sound settings and audio mixer settings, and the desktop settings for a better understanding of my description of the settings. Also, I have published one of the videos with the audio problem, for you to better understand my problem. Waiting to hear from support, Thank you |

I got a response from the support team. The source of the problem I was having was the microphone integrated into my camera. I am using Logitech's C250.
Instead of using the camera's microphone, I used a headset microphone, and indicated the speakers as the source for the video. This worked b/c I am recording my desktop. (image procaster_audio_mixer_headset_microphone.png ) The other solution is to use the camera's integrated microphone, but set the video settings to no camera. Look at attached images for illustration ( procaster_audio_mixer_cameras_mirophone_excluding_ camera.png , procaster_cameras_mirophone_excluding_camera_setti ngs.png ) When I use this camera to livestream from the studio, internet recording interface, this camera works perfect. |
