Default Procaster 20.2.0 very unstable

Love the features of the new version, but the program keeps crashing on us. It will work for approx. 20-30 minutes, then the application will crash and close, and we have to reopen. Any suggestions, or is an update forthcoming?

System is an iMac with a 2.93GHz Core i7 quad, 4GB RAM, and OS 10.6.8. Never had an issue before. Thanks...

Default Livestream Procaster 20.2.0 UNSTABLE

I updated to the new version of livestream procaster. (20.2.0) It crashes all the time. I haven't had any issues with the software before this.

I've thought about moving to 316 networks because of the support and SLA they offer of 99.9% uptime.

The new features are great but I can't have unreliable software that crashes and drops all of our viewers.

Hello,

We apologize for any inconvenience you are experiencing with the new version of Procaster and would like to troubleshoot your issues in order to find a solution. If you could please send us the following information, this would be very helpful:

-Procaster Settings (Quality selected/Recording Locally)
-Procaster status read-out when streaming (bottom left of control bar)
-Internet Connection (visit www.speedtest.net and send me the results of a test)
-Wired or WiFi?

It would also be helpful to send your procaster logs to Procaster@livestream.com. You can retrieve them by visiting the Video tab of your preferences and clicking "Save Logs". This will save a copy to your desktop.

Default Crashing 3 minutes or so into the Broadcast...

Trying to help my Dad set up, and he's all but sworn off Livestream because it crashes his Mac Pro. (no idea why my MacBook would work okay where his Mac Pro doesn't... the only real difference is he's using a second monitor...)

lastres0rt,

Could you please try upgrading to the latest beta version of Procaster. This version fixes a known memory leak issue in previous versions, which might be the problem your father is experiencing. The download link is available in the following section of our forum:
