Default Stupid question -- on embedding ...

Hi! I am sorry for this stupid question, I know it is
I can't figure out how to embed my player on to a site.
When I copy the code, and paste it on the page, the whole code just appears. It doesn't turn into a player
What do I do to make it appear as a player?
Do I write something in front of it?

Thanks!

MusicJoy,

Try inserting the following, before and after the embed code:

<body>
<html>

Is this the same suggestion as was given earlier ^ ?

If so, that didn't work.

If not, could you explain more what you mean?
Thanks.

basically its the same yeah. depending on what you use to build your site or what template your using it varies a lot i was just making reference if you have a more simple web site template where you can just type in words and they show up you want to make sure and be on the source code.

I just want to embed it on a thread on a forum.
I've tried doing what was said above, but it just shows up exactly as I typed it, just a lot of letters. It doesn't turn into a player.

I've tried different variations of what was said above, and none worked, it just shows up as letters. Just to make sure - exactly how do you think I should type it?
<body> first and then the embed code that I copy from my livestream channel and paste in, and then --?

This depends on what is allowed in the Forum you are attempting to embed the player. The Livestream forum, for example, does not allow HTML code which would explain why it shows the text of the code and not the player.
