one video editing issue from novice

hi, I have one cool mkv video but I want to rotate them with 90 degree. I search online, someone recommend to http://www.freemkvconverter.com which claim to have some video editing function, but it ran out to be not true
anyone recommend one free tool which can rotate video 90 degree

When you say "Rotate" the video, do you mean CROP the video? Cropping allows you to turn a video to side to side or upside down

If this isn't what you're trying to do, then please clarify.....
