Show 'LIVE' on webpage

Hello

Was wondering if there was a way to embed some code on my webpage to show either 'LIVE' or 'NOT LIVE' (if you know what I mean) when the web page loads?

I think this would be a great idea if not already available (I couldn't see anywhere)
