Adobe Flash Media Encoder 2.5 Compatible with External DV Camcorder with Firewire?

Hi there,

I'm running Adobe Flash Media Encoder 2.5 with an external firewire (4 pin) DV camera. My camera is a prosumer Sony HVR-Z1U.

I also can't seem to get an image though FME, it only recognizes the built-in webcam.

I tried disabling the webcam, but then FME didn't recognize anything.

Is there a way to get FME to recognize this camera?

I use a Canon HD camera unless your camera settings are set to Standard and not HD FME won't see it. Play with your camera settings read the manual it should work
