My two major concerns are...
I don`t like being limited to only 50 viewers if my channel isn`t verified. We`re going to begin promoting it in a week through advertisements, but there`s no point in advertising if I have a cap on how many viewers can watch. second... I only air public domain material & we`re going to start our own productions soon. I read in the Mogulus Terms that ANYTHING I import from the Mogulus/YouTube tool is ok to use. But I have spotted a few things I imported that I believe may not be ok to use & I deleted them. I`ve been told that Mogulus shuts down channels that air copyrighted material without any warning to the owner first. This alarms me because I try VERY hard to not air copyrighted material without permission. But, in the event I accidently do have copyrighted material it would be devastating if my channel were shut down without me being contacted by Mogulus first. I think Mogulus should contact us first if there`s a problem & allow us to correct it & I think only being allowed 50 viewers is too low of a figure. I think 250 might be more of a fair minimum cap. |

I do have a few items that I have been given permission by the owners to air. So maybe we should be allowed to be contacted first & show proof to Mogulus that we have permission before any action is taken. ie not being verified or getting shut down with out warning.

If you have concerns about material you hold rights to, you can include any documentation in your verification application or e-mail documentation to verification@mogulus.com.
All details of our policy regarding copyright infringement are laid out in the Mogulus Terms of use: http://www.mogulus.com/terms/generalterms#title-6 -Ben Mogulus Support |

It's really a pain to see a channel go by. Anyways, the Copyright law changes does the what it says. |

Hi! ...
Just wondering... why 50 people watching illegal stuff on one channel is not a problem ... but 100 ... 200... or 1000 people watching illegal stuff... oh that is a problem ... Mogulus Label (with link) on embeding players will keep over the "illegal" stuff ... so Mogulus still guilty of that on air or on demand material ... Mogulus think: "oh horror! that's illegal videos... but it's ok i'll let you broadcast and keep on the library ... but just 50 people can watch at a time" .. come on!.. what kind of way to apply Copyrights Laws are that? ... the laws apply as binary numbers i think ... 1 (right) o 0 (wrong) ... there is no ... .. 0.5 (not too right or not too wrong) ... or 0.04% legal .. etc... Very ambiguous Mogulus ... very ... My point of view .... illegal? .. Shut down ... not illegal? ... good .. you can continue ... but there is no options in between ... In any other way you are just playing to be lawyers ... And how you control LIVE copyrights? ... who can watch all the channels at a time to see if there are illegal material LIVE right now? ... just wondering ... because there is a porn movie live right now you know that? http://www.mogulus.com/tintolio ... thanks! |

well, idk what mogulus is thinking but at least to take those 18+ channels away of mogulus because there are always people underage and some that in there country may be inlegal to watch those kind of stuff. Well, I think what mogulus is trying to do is just make those channels (not verified) stand out and be little that no one can see them.
well, we just wait and see what happens. |

I have anotyher issue here. I finished the verification process, and later received an email from Mogulus with the message:
> Mogulus Free Channel Verification Application Approved > Congratulations, sbcgr is verified! > Effective immediately, you can now stream to unlimited concurrent viewers. In addition, your Mogulus Free channel is now listed at Mogulus.com and is available via search or by browsing the Channel Guide. Plus, your channel is now eligible for promotion in throughout the Mogulus Network. Still, 16 hours later, my channle is limited to 50 concurrent users. Haven't receive an answer from Mogulus support yet, and frustration tops historic heights. I have more than 250 concurents each day. This is unbelievable |

Verification occurs in the order the application is received. Once the channel is verified the cap removal should be immediate, but if anyone else experiences a delay let us know so we can look into it further.

Why don't they just allow Free Mogulus users (non verified) 1 channel and a cap of say 200 (still removed from search) and Verified channels No cap for viewers, and No cap for channels.
Like I said before our channel is Japanese Anime (English subs) so what if an Anime is not Copyrighted in North America (example: Katekyo Hitman Reborn - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Katekyo_Hitman_Reborn!) Is that okay to have in my channel? What if I had my channel Verified with Animes that are not Copyrighted, but then in 1 year or less, they get Copyrighted in North America, how is Mogulus gonna know anyway? They don't keep track of that. Also, does this cap apply for Pro users as well? I can't imagine Mogulus deleting a Pro users channel, thus removing a source of their income.
