Default Mobile device broadcasting?

Can you broadcast to your channel via a mobile device (eg iPad or iPhone)?

Right now this is only possible through the Qik app:

But that's not related to live streaming to Livestream. That's set on Qik's site. Uploading videos and live stream are two different functions.

What about being able to broadcast from our android phone? Will there be an app coming for this? This is something that can be done on ustream. But I like everything else better about livestream. But this sure would be nice since I am traveling a lot and would like to do impromptu interviews.

You can currently accomplish this with the Qik app, CoachBook. Reading through this thread as well as visiting the following link will explain how.

Default Stream on mobile fone

Hello Live Stream user,

I want to live stream on my phone (HTC DESIRE HD: Andriod System!) on stream. How do I Join? Is that possible? The phone is a camera and internet is flat there.

Failing that there is an alternative?

Yours sincerely,
Markus

Hi Guys,

the handy app for Adriod System doesn't work. I doesn't see the Integration "livestream" in the list of this app. Why?

Markus

Bendhunters,

You'll need to sign up for an account on qik.com and set up the Livestream integration on the website. Then, download the mobile app. Please see this page for more information:
