Default channel lookup cross-domain

I was looking at version 2.0 of the channel API and it seems that checking to see if multiple streams are live cross-domain (javascript) is not possible in a single ajax call. Is this correct?

Thought I would post more details so everyone can understand my dilemma. You can check multiple streams using the following:

http://channel.api.livestream.com/1....ase,livestream

However this obviously can't be used in javascript. In javascript all I've been able to find is:

http://xproshowcasex.api.channel.liv...ack=livestatus

The problem is I have to make multiple requests for multiple channels. This is bad for both my site and livestream, no?

Unfortunately, we currently don't have JSON output available for the guide API.
