Livestream Procaster won't connect

I can't open my Livestreamer, When I click it nothing shows up! I use Windows 7, and I tried opening it in "Administrator" but nothing shows up...
I think I'm the only one with this problem :/
Please help me :<.

Could you please clarify what you mean? Does Procaster not load when you initially try to run the program, or does it not connect when you go live?

every time i go to open procaster i get a message saying procaster is not working and then it closes but when that load bar comes up before it opens it all ways freezes at initialize settings window
IF you need to know im using a laptop pc not mac

The best way to figure this out is to send your Procaster logs to procaster@livestream.com.

FYI we've seen this issue occur if multiple videocard drivers are installed - I recommend ensuring that you only have the drivers installed for your current videocard.

I have the same problem. I save the program to my folder, but no desktop icon appears. After the download seems to be finished I click "run this program," enter my admin password and then nothing happens. I have Windows vista also.

Have you tried to download Procaster again since this initial time it failed to install?

Hey,

I've just installed the new procaster after a fresh windows reinstall (after I've installed all of my video codecs ofc) and I keep getting this error when I want to go live:

"error initialization h264VSofts encoder"

It gives me this error both on desktop and in game streaming, right after the stream connects to livestream.com .

any ideas on how to fix? :\ it's pretty urgent

TSLlol,

I would suggest uninstalling Procaster, restarting your system and installing once again. If this does not resolve the issue could you please send a copy of your logs to Procaster@livestream.com and mention this thread. You can find a copy of your logs by going into Procaster preferences and the video tab.

What output resolution are you attempting to stream at? This message typically appears when users stream at an output higher than our recommended max of 1280x720 with Procaster. If you could please try to reduce your output resolution and let us know your results.
