Problem with 16:9 showing as 4:3

Hi

We are streaming from a Tricaster in 16:9 but our image appears 4:3 in our live stream channel window. All our uploaded videos play fine!!

We’ve tried ever calculation of 16:9 right down to an output size of 480x270

Any advice would be gratefully received

Try using the following rtmp link, which calls in the aspect ratio:

rtmp://publish.livestream.com/mogulus/[your_channel]/username=[username]/password=[password]/isAutoLive=[true|false]/aspectWidth=[number]/aspectHeight=[number]

Just input all your info of course and remove the brackets.

On Livestream have you clicked on My Account and then to the right of the channel clicked on Configure button and scrolled down to change the aspect ratio from 4:3 to 16:9?
If you have a Premium Channel you can also control Crop vs LetterBox.
