Change Username?

You can't change the username itself that you've attached to your email address.

Open a support ticked and they'll see if they can clear this up. Include Username and Email address in the ticket.

I thought it works the same way as YouTube... meaning the channel would be my appearing tag.

Thankfully I can delete the channel but found that there is no way for me to change the username nor delete the account. The only option is to create another account using another e-mail account but I'd prefer everything to be sent to the same inbox.

Any ideas?

At this time users are not able to change their user name. If you'd like to delete your account please send a ticket in from our support center, which can be found here:

If you'd prefer to change your user name, but keep the same channel name it can be done as follows:

You can create a new account with a new user name
and then transfer your channel ownership over. Once you transfer ownership, the
channel will be moved from the "My Channels" section to the "Member Channels"
section. The new owner will be able to remove or change your access to the
channel if desired. This CANNOT be undone.

How do I go about changing my username?

Usernames cannot be changed. You'd need create a new one and transfer ownership of your channel to the new username, if need be.

How do you change your username to something different. I see how to change a password but not how to change my username.

Hope I don't have to delete the account and start over as a new user! Thanks!

Unfortunately, there is no way to change your username. You would need to create a new account, then transfer ownership of your new channel to the other account.
