Default No audio after ad. Still not working

Another thread reports this to be fixed. But it is till happening for my viewers and I have it happening here.

This morning I monitored www.tallasseeTV.com in full screen mode. A schwinn.com video played. after the full screen ad finnished, my video came back with no audio. It displayed what looked like a lower third flash ad for Schwinn with a close (X) over my video, which I did not click on. After a few seconds the lower third ad fadded out, leaving me with an unobstructed view of my video, but no audio.

!!! AND !!! When I hit esc to exit out of full screen, it did but, the control bar below the video was empty, no speaker, no LIVE indicator, no pause/play button, no viewer count or facebook/twitter links, Nothing, just blank. Even the buttons on the video for pause and full screen did not show up when I positioned the mouse over the video. I had to refresh the page, doing so fixed everything. 5 seconds later a UPS ad played. Audio, and the controls were stored poperly at the end of the ad. I clicked on full screen and clicked on "now". Yhe UPS ad played again. At the end, it again worked as it should. Only certain ads see to cause the problem. UPS ads work, Schwinn Bike ads, (among others) don't.

We are going to investigate with our ad providers. It definitely sounds like it's an ad-specific issue.
Is this an ongoing issue for you?

I am experiencing the same issue as well. In both Chrom and IE after an add plays, the streaming audio never comes back. I noticed this speciffically this morning after Expedia add that plays 15 seconds after starting a stream.

Please post the name of the channel where you see this happening. I've been hearing similar reports from other users, so currently our engineers are trying to pinpoint the issue.

Default still a problem

http://www.livestream.com/cwoc?utm_s...gn=footerlinks

works through the large ad then audio stops when it falls to a small banner. if you close the small banner the audio will come back. if you let the banner time out the audio will not come back.

Default Ads keep cutting out my sound.

I am currently watching a Minecraft livestream and every time an ad comes on when I get back it is total silence. People have suggested that I reload, I have. After the first 15 seconds an ad comes up and cuts out the audio again. Please help. Silence is not golden.

Default Is there any reason...

That the commercials that play on live stream are almost 200% louder then the stream content? I used a decibel meter and I knew your commercials were loud. This is making me want to switch to a competing service.

Yes, there is a reason...

Commercials are carefuly done by profesionals. They set the volume levels so as not to over modulate and cause distortion, or to be low and introduce noise.

Many Livestreams are done by inexperienced produces who do not set the levels correctly.
Youtube videos are notorious for having the levels all over the place. If you import a YouTube video directly into livestream, there is a 90% chance that the audio levels are WAY to low.

Try this experiment.
Start Procaster.
Bring up the Procaster mixer and enable the mic. In in the Procaster Mixerset the Mic gain and output gain at 0db. (Exactly HALF WAY)
Adjust your mic mixer hardware (and/or the windows recording controls), so that the VU display on the Procaster mixer is as high as posible without lighting the red part above the indicater. That should only go red once in a while, like when you clap our hands. Only adjust the procaster mic mixer if your mic won't produce a high enough level when the windows or mixer hardware won't raise them high enough. Do not raise the Porcaster output level.

Now broadcast your stream and watch it in a channel viewer. If you did this right, the commercials play will all be exactly the same volume as your broadcast.

Not to toot my own horn, (pun) but, I try to pay special attention to the audio levels. Most of the time I get it right. Check out www.TallasseeTV.com and see how the commercials sound there compaired to the show's stream.

Oh, By the way, I also sometimes produce streams on Ustream and Justin. You will get exactly the same results there.

Still happening today.

Does it at www.TallasseeTV.com

(Channel is tallasseeTimes)

BTW, The first ad leaves the stream muted. IF you don't press the speaker control in the player twice to restore the audio, THEN all the following ad's audios will play at regular volume but still leave the show's content muted.
