Default Livestream muted after ad?

After these annoying norton ads, the whole livestream gets muted. It happened on every channel I've been on today.

Default i concur

im having the same issue.
if you let the flash ad play and end on its own, the player loses the sound and the controls are lost.
the only way to regain anything is to refresh the website.
i posted this problem a few weeks ago and got zero views and zero responses.
my listeners have been dealing with the issue, but it is rather annoying.
please fix it, if anyone at support is reading this.

scpdny, I'm hearing audio after the ads on your channel. The audio keeps cutting out but given what you're streaming I'm not sure if its the sound being squelched but I am hearing audio after the ad.

jzeller, I'd need your channel link to test.

Default video audio cuts out after commercial

I understand the need for commercials but this is excepptionally aggravating. Currently while trying to watch the closing arguments in the Cates trial being broadcast on "thetelegraphlive" channel, you get the 20 second tease (and everything is normal with the feed) then when the commercial runs and the channel comes back there is no audio at all. Adjusting the volume worked a couple times to bring it back, but there is a definite bug in your player right now.

Same issue occurs on Firefox, Chrome and IE8 running on Windows 7 64Bit. Did not have this issue for the previous two weeks I've been using this service. Something changed since friday.

Same issue has been occuring for the past 24 hours at least.

thetelegraphlive channel is experiencing the same thing. Doesn't matter what browser, IE8, Netscape, Chrome, Safari etc

The ads have sound, but coming back to the stream after the ad the sound isn't there.

I started experiencing the same thing.
Happened once on my channel, but I was browsing several channels on the livestream page and it was happening on every channel I visited that had commercials.

After the ad, dead silence.

I was able to hit "pause" and then "play" and get the audio back. I forget what commercial played that did it.

Producers, You might want to know, not everyone viewing your channel sees the same ads. I saw ads for Florida politictans last week. My viewers in Alabama saw ads for cell phones and other stuff. Some complained about the problem, others said the audio was working for them. One of my regular viewers has not had the problem this until a new ad showed up this morning.
I think we need to pay closer attention to which ads cause the problem, and wht viewers do to correct it.

Hello everyone,

We are aware of the issue and are investigating the source of the problem.

Yes, this is still happening as of 4:15 am central time Monday Nov 15th
I just stared my viewer at www.tallasseeTV.com in IE on three pc's (XP, Vista and Seven) and the audo stoped after the first google video commercial. The commercial was alltells free fridays with a couple wearing matching sweters. After the ad there was no audio, clicking twice on the speaker icon, (turning it OFF and then back ON again) restored the audio.

Several of my vewers reported this to me starting friday morning, I verified it here in my studio then and again before my morning broadcast today.

Further information.

Still failing on www.tallasseetv.com

Does not fail on the same channel in the old embedded viewer at networkalabama.com/p/netal06

the issue seems to be just with the new viewer.

And today is the deadline. I looks like the old viewer is still working. What time does the changeover happen?
