what mogulus should just do with the Wide screen is just put them for free. Well, youtube had put all videos Wide screen. So why not Mogulus? the HD access should just be separate but the Wide screen can be activated for free even just for SD. well, all TVs are now Windscreen so whats the point of having them in Full screen and have to pay to get it in Windscreen?

In this article http://www.geeknewscentral.com/archives/008445.html I read about lots of other paid streaming services that has been around for a while. They are all much cheaper than the new Mogulus rip off. But which are they? Anyone with tips here?
We've decided today to stop using Mogulus and will use Ustream for the the time being. Last edited by folkmun; 7th December 2008 at 14:10. |

I just wish they would deactivate the bandwidth limitation for those of us who use Mogulus through Flash Media Encoder. Our shows have been greatly suffering since they've started to enforce this limitation.

As per our Terms of Use, there is a limit of 10 channels for free accounts though on a case by case basis we generally allow more so long as the channels are being used appropriately.

You should stop using the service then. Use something else. I've been beta testing since early 07, giving feedback, spreading the word about the service, promoting it, etc... I'll be deleting my channels and moving my operation to a competitor asap. Mogulus doesn't really care about its user base. I suspect we have all been used in order to build a product that can be readily sold to some corporate giant.
So much for citizen journalism. So much for breaking the hold over media by the corporate media monopoly. Max+Mogulus=sellouts |

A message from Max Haot - Mogulus CEO:
Dear Mogulus Producers, We have been reviewing all the pricing comments which were posted on this thread over the past few days. We appreciate your feedback and have some ideas we would like to discuss with you. Firstly we want to re-iterate that we are fully behind our Mogulus Free service and producers - our strategy is to develop both services. We also understand that Mogulus Pro is not affordable for all producers. We would like to discuss with the community plans to:
I would also like to mention that if and when succeed at having our Mogulus Free advertising revenues generate a profit against our bandwidth charges (which we are constantly working with vendors to reduce), we intend to launch a profit sharing program with selected Mogulus Free producers. Next step: If you are interested in participating in the discussion, please email your username and channel names to pricingdiscussion@mogulus.com. We will get back to you with more details on the feedback process and our ideas by Friday, December 19th 2008. We look forward to working with you to find an attractive solution for Mogulus Free producers which also work for our business and vision. Best Regards, Max Haot CEO Mogulus |

oh man, when i finally did the math my heart just broke.
we could afford 350$ a month no problem, but 25gig limit? seriously? our first successful broadcast got us 110,000 minutes of viewership in 24 hours. that would have used 15 times our allotted bandwidth? =( edit: when i first saw the pricing i thought the gig limit was based on upload. i didnt look hard enough, i went and ran to my boss and told him how mogulus pro was FINALLY out and that we were gonna have HD and advertising and blah blah blah. i literally told him "we backed the right horse". I am going to look like such a tool tomorrow when i tell him. thank god there was no contract on pro.
