Chat Moderation

I would love this feature implemented. There are a lot of people who spam things and just disrupt chat. So a kick or ban option would be nice.

I agree that this would be a helpful feature. Would should be able to blacklist someone from our chat community altogether or kick them from the chat a certain period of time. In addiction to other chat controls, the chat moderation should be able to filter lot profanity and offensive language and be able to highlight the topic of discussion at the top of the chat screen.

my visitors like the chat but quite often we get disturbed by spammers! We need a tool to indentify IP and ban people.

Chat Moderation is one of the top priorities on our roadmap, we're working on this right now and it should be coming in the next several weeks.

I'm getting a lot of profanity and spam in my chat room attached to the video feed, but I don't see a way to moderate it.

If it can't be moderated, can the channel be configured not to allow chat?

You can disable chat from the Configure Channel tab. There is a checkbox in the My Channel Page section for "chat enabled" (right next to player color) that you can uncheck to disable the chat.
