Question How can I get Livestream to accept DVI

Hello,
I use livestream and basically use video in from live canon z280. We have a video system that can output vga or dvi. I have been looking for the right adapter to convert DVI into what livestream can recognize on a macbook pro (intel) (firewire or usb ) or if need be I can get a pc.

Can anyone answer my question how I can do this?

Some PC graphic cards like Black Magic have DVI inputs, I've been told.
