Can't stream sims

hi, i am new to livestream and i hope u could help me.
i was trying to stream sims 3 and when i clicked ctrl+F1 nothing heppend. when i tried to just stream the screen with sims working on full screen it make sims look like it was a small window at the side of the computer.
help?
