Hello, i've been having this problem ever since streaming, i've never been able to stream properly and its not just on livestream, it does it on the other streaming sites as well. I can't wrap my head around it. When uploading to an FTP/http I get 120~kbp/s. On torrents I can't seem to break 30kbp/s and streaming is basically impossible.
Doing a speedtest I get these results ![]() I've also done a pingtest ![]() Now going by this I'm getting nearly my full upload and I should be able to upload a 200kbs stream without problems. I have a PC powerful enough to stream but I just can't get anything streaming without constant skipping and lag or terrible framerate. Any input would be helpful

my guess would be that your upload speed is too slow for the quality you are trying to stream..
i have 10mbps up and i had to lower the qual quite much in order for it to stream in 600-700kbps. |

There's a lot of factors that can impact frame rate.
What program(s) are you using to stream since you mention other sites if may involve a specific program config or something about your computer? |

What is your system specs including CPU and GPU?
What are you trying to stream? What are the encoder settings you're using? I've seen some odd issues where a webcam will default to it's largest size (think 1600x1200) and it doesn't go above 5fps for example. If you're streaming your screen, a large screen size can impact the GPU handling and that too might result in a low frame rate. There are other things that can cause it to so I really need complete details. |
