Time zone not recognized

Please!!! Time Zone support in the Channel Events!!! Our event is in London and will have a global audience. They won't know what EDT is!

Indeed! My suggestion would be to show timezones locally, aswell as per a standard (for example GMT).

Heck, this even annoys me, the producer, the advanced user. Like "What the heck, something must be wrong" (which is why I now searched the forums for "Timezone").

Hi,

I added events in the configure section and it says they will appear as EDT, which makes sense for us. But when I added the events they are appearing incorrectly on our public channel, in the wrong time and wrong time zone: UTC.

I don't know why that is happening and don't know how to change it:

Thanks for the quick reply. I will monitor this board to see what I might have to do. We are hosting a large Livestreame event Wednesday afternoon and there will be a lot of eyes (we hope) on our page, so we want it displaying properly.

Well, I am not sure it has been fixed. Below is how things turned up today when I launched a new Swedish channel (even though Sweden does not exist in Livestream's drop down menu

Channel ssrkonsument
Time zone set to GMT+01.00 Stockholm
(Which actually is wrong, cause we have "summer time now", that is GMT+2. Furthermore, I beleive the correct way to specify time today for Sweden would be CEST
or UTC+2, and after Oct 31: CET or UTC+2).

Event set to Start 2010 October 14, 10.00 AM
Event set to Stop at 2010 October 14, 03.30 PM
(by the way, we use a 24h clock here, not AM/PM)

On the channel page the event is specified (above video window) as
Oct 14 a 10:00 AM EDT

I'm leaving it like that for a couple of days if you would like to investige, then I need to remove it not to confuse visitors.
