Currently webcaster sucks because the quality is waaay lower than procasting from windows or mac. However windows or mac are huge risks to use security wise. We need to do 24/7 streaming from our linux machine and webcaster just doesn't do it! |

You know, they might be waiting (and intelligently doing so) on Wayland to propogate. Wayland is supposedly going to change everything, and they'd most definitely want Procaster to work with it.
However, I really wish they would let us in on what's going on behind the scenes - Linux is known for its community, and I'm sure that the Linux community would be more than willing to help with development decisions (like whether or not to support Wayland). |
