The RSS Storyboard will only import from Media RSS feeds such as the Qik and Democracy Now feeds you refer to. YouTube RSS feeds don't have an actual media file attached for the storyboard to pull in.

Yes, please do fix this. The RSS feeds do not seem to be updating, nor does the "podcast import" function work properly. It just gives an error message.

Im using every day, adding new videos to favorites and I need it included in mogulus channel. You can imagine the tedioud task everyday adding manually every video when it could be done easily with a fix to let include youtube rss feed there.
Me and hundred users I imagine are needing this feature. Thanks at all. http://www.e-duca.eu Last edited by bunset; 2nd January 2011 at 20:35. |

I've been trying to work with the RSS storyboard feature, but yet to have any videos appear.
I have my RSS feed from my blog, to which I post videos to, then use that feed through feedburner as a media feed. Has anyone had success with the RSS storyboards? I'm not sure what I am missing here. Either the storyboard shows up and says there are no videos, or it cannot add my RSS feed. I guess this feature is called Video podcast now? |

I've just started trying to get this working also. I keep getting "Invalid RSS Feed" error. Can anyone tell me the exact format of the MRSS file, where it should reside and what it's fields should say?

I realize I should explain what I've tried so you might see my mistake.
This is the content I put inside example.rss "

Obama Grabs Lunch at Chicago Landmark

Viagra Voodoo

Obama Speech

" In the mogulus "New RSS storyboard" box I enter the url where I have placed the file on my site. |

Add me to the list of people who can't get the "New RSS Storyboard" feature to work. My feed works with the "Import from Podcast" feature but nothing is imported with the "New RSS Storyboard" feature. It would be nice if this worked.

The RSS feed needs to be a Media RSS feed that includes actual video files for example this feed: http://www.democracynow.org/podcast-video.xml
If there are embedded media files for the RSS Storyboard to pull in as in the example above the storyboard will immediately populate and begin importing the most recent clips. -Ben Mogulus Support |
