Coming from the world of Digital Signage, the one MAJOR feature I am most surprised to see missing from Livestream, is the ability to SCHEDULE.

Livestream guy, PLEASE PLEASE make this a top priority to add.

Otherwise -- Great service.

Default Still not available?

Resurrecting this thread instead of starting a new one, as this is exactly what I'm looking for.

I'm a bit sad to see that this feature still doesn't exist, or apparently doesn't exist. I can't find anything in the Studio app that would handle scheduling. It looks like this feature has been "coming soon" for a couple of years now. That does give me bit of pause about committing long-term to Livestream; I'd like to believe it when they say "coming soon" about a feature.

I see that http://new.livestream.com is teasing some new features for broadcasters. Can anyone inside Livestream give us a hint as to whether or not scheduling has been added?

Would love to see this as well. Fully automated channel would save a lots of time and effort.

meldevonne,

Could you provide further detail on exactly what you are trying to accomplish?

Default i want to use live stream to broadcast on a low power tv station

I can lease time on a low power tv station in my town and wanted to use Livestream as TV automation to air on the station. all the content on my livestream channel will air on this TV station.
Just wanted to know if I could do it and stay compliant on any agreements with Livestream.

meldevonne,

That should be okay if you are broadcasting original content, however I would not recommend this if you are broadcasting content you do not own the rights to (music videos, movies, etc).

Angry Still no scheduling??

So here we are in 2013 and STILL no scheduling. This is beyond bizarre and still NO feed back from Livestream on this essential function. How can any self respecting broadcaster use Livestream without the ability to schedule. I love what you guys are doing otherwise but just ignoring this thread does not remove the urgent need for scheduling. Seriously thinking of moving over to Wowza if this doesn't get resolved soon.

While I have no direct knowledge it seems "Original" Livestream development has stopped but still in maintenance mode. "New" Livestream seems geared towards event programing rather than 24/7 programing.

Default Prefer the original Livestream

But the new Livestream sucks, it's like a blog channel. I really prefer to stick with the old and be able to schedule my programs.
