There are threads about the terrible SOUND problems caused by Procaster, on both Mac and PC, going back ONE YEAR. Audioredirector, etc.
Why is this issue STILL EXACTLY THE SAME. Luckily I found the fix on these threads, after days of trying to get sound again on my Mac after installing Procaster. So the solution is to install Procaster every time one broadcasts, then trash it and the bad system files every time? No excuse for this negligence... |

lamajinpa,
To my knowledge there has not been widespread complains of audio issues with Procaster, outside of XP users who do not have the option for speaker's audio. I would suggest opening a support ticket here: https://secure.livestream.com/myacco...ter/openticket In this ticket please outline your system specs as follows and if possible a link to a video experiencing this audio issue and we will try to assist you. CPU, RAM, Video Card Operating System Procaster version Workflow/any external devices Thanks, Matt Livestream Producer Support |

/System/Library/ but there is no Extensions folder after that. I am using a Mac with OSX version 10.6.8, so a Snow Leopard. I would like to unistall everything so I don't have any problems during reinstallation. |

Try pressing Shift+Command+G and enter /System/Library/Extensions/ and press Go.

The only way I resolved this issue when I had it a year ago was when my HD crashed and wiped everything. I would greatly prefer for this to not be my only option again. It's very annoying for my Mac to autoselect ProcasterAudioRedirector as my Output source every time I restart my machine. It's even more aggravating Procaster inserts this file onto my machine after installation in the first place! |

I was prompted to update my Livestream Procaster March 3. I am on a MacBook Pro and have Lion 10.7.3. I ensured I had the most recent Adobe Flash installed via firefox. But, about 5 seconds after I launch it, my circle starts to spin and then I get a crash report.
Does anyone have some suggestions of how to deal with this? I'd like to completely uninstall procraster, reboot and reinstall, but am not sure how to do this. Suggestions and help appreciated greatly! |

I'm having no luck uninstalling Procaster from my MacBook Pro, or getting Audioredirector to stop hijacking my sound every time I reboot - with no way of changing the settings from default input/output on startup in System Preferences. I can't delete it using the AudioMIDI Setup. It's just squattins on my computer, and there's nothing I can do to evict.
Has anyone found a resolution to this outside of wiping the hard drive? Where is the uninstall information for Procaster? Thanks for the help. |
